From the moment we walked in the door until we checked out, our visit to The Quarry House was perfect. Laurel and Charlie were wonderful hosts. The information I received from them prior to our visit was very helpful. I had no questions about the check-in process, and they were on site to answer all of our questions when we arrived. They gave us a personal tour of the premises and showed us all the spaces we could enjoy. We stayed in the Family Room. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom had every amenity that we could have asked for. The downstairs living and dining room spaces were very inviting and were filled with lots of books and games for a family to enjoy. There is a huge kitchen for preparing meals, and well-marked spaces for storing food in cabinets and the two refrigerators. We enjoyed playing games on the huge front porch during an evening rainstorm. I would highly recommend this place for an overnight or an extended stay in a lovely town.

Beautiful home. Very comfortable. Close to everything. Laurel was very thoughtful when preparing this home for guests. I would definitely Stay here again.

The bed was extremely comfortable and big. Fit for a King.. and the pillows are amazing. Very quiet and couldn't hear others in different rooms. WiFi is blazing fast. Microfiber towels in the bathroom are amazing. For sure would recommend and will always stay here when we come back. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

We had a lovely experience at the Quarry House. It's like walking back in time while having modern conveniences. Clean and relaxing decor as well as friendly conversations with Charlie and Laurel. We felt very much at home discussing local history, mystery and intrigue. Mark Twain dinner's food is excellent and Finns would be a close second with live music. Be ready to be pampered Charlie and Laurel have covered allot of small details that make your stay even better. Hilton has nothing on them. We will be back and will bring family. You will have a memorable experience with your stay Especially calling "Andy in Mayberry" My niece was amazed.

This is such a great space! It was perfect for a Hannibal Getaway, and truly so cute!

Nice place! Everything you might need is there! Very clean, comfortable bed, and nice shower! Very close to Main Street and riverfront.

What a fantastic find! Loved our stay and fabulous hosts at The Quarry House in Hannibal, MO? The house is within walking distance to downtown festivals and there is convenient access to a biking/walking trail. Laurel and Charlie truly thought of every detail. The Family room was perfect for our party of 2 adults and 2 kids. The entire house is beautifully decorated and feels like a home away from home. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay!

House, room, hosts are all top-notch! All details have been covered. All the amenities in the house are incredibly well marked so you know exactly where to find everything. There is a fire pit, BBQ grill, umbrellas, robes, built-in Bluetooth speaker in the light/fan in the bathroom, and on and on and on. They have thought of everything. The location is great and it is a short walk from the house to downtown/main St. and there are hiking biking paths adjacent to the house as well.

This place is special and a must-stay for any traveler and party size. I look forward to my next visit to my favorite side of Hannibal.

If I could give ten stars for each category, I would!! Communication was excellent, cleanliness and clarity were top-notch, and the location was wonderful. We were so thankful to be away enough from downtown that it felt peaceful, but close enough to easily walk to everything we wanted to visit. It's obvious that Laurel and Charlie have poured so much hard work and love into this place and they were fantastic hosts. I couldn't stop commenting on how they thought of EVERYTHING! Umbrellas by the door, pretty labels on anything that needed labels, Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom... The kids loved the trundle bed and the beautiful old house, my husband and I loved drinking our coffee on the porch and watching the sunrise. We all wished we could have stayed longer and are planning to return ASAP!

One of my favorite airbnb's ever, the attention to detail the hosts put into developing this property is so evident. Check in process was a breeze, tons of space, very clean, we loved having several bathrooms for a big group and the overall aesthetic is just so pleasing! You will not go wrong if you choose to book a stay at the quarry house. We will definitely be back!

This was a last-minute weekend trip for me. I was lucky to find this gem. Fantastic, newly renovated home to stay in. To date, the cleanest I have ever stayed in. And I am a germaphobe! I felt as comfortable as if I were in my own home. We stayed in the Family Room; used two of the three beds. The beds are crazy comfortable, too. No shortage of pillows and there are extra blankets available. The air conditioning in the room was perfect. The room has its own thermostat control, but we didn't need to change it. And it was HOT outside! The rooms are upstairs so it might be difficult for folks with ambulatory issues. The bathroom: There is no tub in the room we were in (which was not an issue for me). The shower has great water pressure and there is plenty of light in the bathroom. More than enough towels were available. The kitchen/common area is very well appointed. Each guest has their own refrigerator space . Condiments, coffee, bottled water and snacks (nice touch!) were supplied. There is also a washer and dryer available on the main floor. Laurel and Charlie are very quick to answer questions. There is ample parking on the property and the location is perfect for wandering around the many shops/restaurants that are within walking distance.

What a great thing Charlie and Laurel have going here. GREAT layout, concept and design. Could not have asked for better accommodations, communication, and service. Everything was so clean and better than the photos. Great location - 1 min drive from historic downtown. Nicest hosts we've encountered on air bNb. Fantastic way to kickoff vacation!

The Quarry House is a superb accommodation. The place is beautiful, clean, and has a lot of "extras" to make each guest feel like a VIP. The hosts, Laurel and Charlie, are personable and attentive to every need. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the use of a fabulous kitchen and two living rooms makes it perfect for a short or longer stay. The house is a short walk to Main Street Hannibal, a quaint and historical town with good food and cute shops. We cannot say enough about this gem of a house in a beautiful location. This is a 5-star accommodation with excellent service to accompany it.

A friend and I were looking for a place to relax and catch up - what a great choice we made in The Quarry House. Laurel and Charlie have thought of it all - from the dual coffee pots (regular and decaf!) to the extra wine bottle cork and utensils galore to the many colorful brochures around the house that offer day trip ideas. We enjoyed meeting the owners and hearing the restoration story first hand. There was also plenty of space in the kitchen for multiple guests to store food and goodies as each room has a beautifully labeled section to call its own. Our guest quarters were spacious and the shower head was hung at just the right height (tall people can appreciate). I thought many times it would be great fun to rent the whole house!
